Borders
Hardwood floor borders can be used for many reasons, being decorative and/or purposeful. Whether its to highlight a section of your home, add a decorative flare, or to create a natural flow through one space to the next. Here at Antique Hardwood Flooring we can install border work to your own specifications. Only available for Finished Onsite Floors and potentially when Refinishing.
Note: It may be possible to add a border, when getting your floors Refinished. If you would be interested in this please make sure to have our technician aware during the inspection, they will be able to provide you with an answer to whether it can be done.
To get you started in the process of picking a border, here are some categories to get you started in the right direction:
Keyline Border: Single strip/plank around the perimeter or a section of the space, for example around the fireplace.
Tramline Border: Multiple strips/planks creating a border, different types of species can be used.
Decorative: Completely custom border, can be something well know (ie. the French knot), or a design you want to be created.
